Sound Healing is a form of vibrational meditative therapy for the mind, body and soul connection. The intentional use of tonal frequencies from ancient instruments like Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums and various percussion instruments can activate our natural healing frequencies at cellular level.
The vibrations emitted from the instruments can alter our state of consciousness through brainwave entrainment.
Achieving the 'alpha-theta' brainwave state where deep relaxation, meditative state and healing can occur.
As a human vessel we carry up to 70% water therefore our bodies are great conductors for sound to travel through triggering relaxation responses allowing our potential anxious mind-body step into healing and releasing any suppressed emotions.

It’s all about the vibrations!
Science tells us everything that exists in the universe is vibrating. All that surrounds us are in motion even if the human eye cannot see it. We are constantly moving at every level of being (spirit, soul, mind, emotion and physical body) Lets take a look at the human body, atoms, molecules, cells, tissues, organs = You as a whole organism. Every part of us vibrates at different frequencies.
The human organism is complex to understand to simplify this, our human body contains up to 70% Water. When we throw a rock into the water, enormous ripples vibrate out and when we use sound healing with pure intention our thoughts, prayers, desires are planted. Realigning our vibration.
Sound travels through air then to our ear drums and then it sends a message to our brain which can alter our brainwave states to alpha, theta and delta states. Depending on the sound it can invoke certain emotions unique to each moment-to-moment experience and bodily sensations.
With this intelligence of activating different altered states individuals can access their own natural capabilities to self-regulate, self-heal and assist in their mind-body transformation. As when we are in the alpha-theta state that is when deep healing occurs, our resting and restoring meditative state.
Sound have been used for many centuries in different cultural practices and now this modality is also being used by doctors and physicians to assist in their patients healing journey.

The sound facilitator will guide each session with connection and intention. Being clear on the intention is important for the healing. We will spend time to explore these together. There may be resistance and releasing of stagnant energy or trauma in the body or you could feel completely relaxed and fall asleep. Remember that each experience is what you need in that very moment.
Sessions are held laying down.

One of the ways sound healing therapy works is by synchronising the brainwaves through entrainment - a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state of consciousness.
There are 5 main brainwave states
Gamma - heightened perception, learning,problem solving, cognitive processing(thinking/reasoning/remembering)
Beta - alertness, highly focused, actively thinking, problem solving
Alpha - relaxed state of consciousness, reflective, light meditation, stress reduction, positive thinking
Theta - creativity, insight, deep states, dreams, meditative, inner-peace
Delta - deep dreamless sleep, loss of bodily awareness, restorative state, healing
